The Colorado Springs Police Department announced Monday that it was closing Highway 101 to vehicles due to the “high-risk fire activity” near the Camp Randall campground.
The Department tweeted that a large wildfire had reached the campground at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 30.
A fire crew is on scene.
