The day after his inauguration, President Trump said he was ready to speak with reporters about the country’s new infrastructure.
“I think I’ll be there on the first day,” he said.
“They are very, very excited.
“So we’ll be seeing that very, really shortly. “
We’re going over some things and then we’ll see what happens,” he added.
And we’re going through it right now. “
It’s really exciting.
And we’re going through it right now.
So, we’ll just have to see how it all goes.””
And it’s just been a very busy week.
So, we’ll just have to see how it all goes.”
Trump said the U.S. is in “a period of great prosperity” with jobs growing and a stronger economy.
“The United States is very much in a period of tremendous prosperity,” he told reporters in the Rose Garden.
“There are a lot, a lot going on.
It’s a great period.”
Trump also spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, saying he wants to get along with both nations.
“My first priority is to make sure we have an agreement on trade and a fair deal,” Trump said.
“And I think I’m going to be meeting with Justin later this week.
He’s a wonderful person.
We have a great relationship.
We want to make it a very strong and lasting one,” Trump added.
